Well this might be my last post but even though it was a assignment I had a lot of fun writing these blogs. I learned so much making this blog for example, I learned how to make a blog! The year was great it had its ups and downs but all went well.
So to wrap up the year I want to wish the upcoming freshman lucky because I have been writing a lot about freshman year and how to prepare for it. I thought it would be the most easiest subject to talk about because I am a freshman.
If you want me to continue doing my blog please comment below! :) P.S Thanks for visiting my blog!

Summer Time!
Summer is almost here so I wanted to make a list of fun activities to do. I'm going to try to do all of these with my closest friends.
I plan to do some of these activities too. Here is the list below:
1. Water Ballon Fight: Fill water balloons with ice cold water, make sure you all have the same amount, then go to different sides of the yard and THROW!!
2. Messy Twister: Get an old Twister mat. You can either do this activity with paint or whipped cream and food coloring. If you use whipped cream just mix it with food coloring. Pour the substance on the dots and PLAY!!
3. Minute to Win it: Host your own 'Minute to Win It' game show. Have you seen the show 'Minute to Win It'? It's pretty awesome and involves a variety of simple games that you have to try to complete within one minute. Get your friends together; setup a bunch of games, and play. If you really want to make a spectacle of it, do it on your driveway, so all your neighbors can be entertained.
4. Beach Party: Invite a bunch of people to the beach. Have them bring food or you can bring food. Get a spot big enough for all your people. Have music that everyone listens to and HAVE FUN!!
5. Prank Calling: Get your phones and go to the dial pad. Dial random numbers who people you know and call them saying something ridiculous. (BE SURE TO DAIL *67 BEFORE ENTERING THE NUMBER) It's funnier if you use an accent of some type.
6. Go camping: Invite a bunch of your friends to go camping. You don't have to go camping in the woods—if you'd rather you can camp out in your backyard or even the beach. If you are going to go camping in the park or backyard, have a barbecue or picnic. If you are camping at the park see if you can go fishing if there is a pond there. If you are going to go camping at the beach or park make sure that you are allowed to camp out in those areas. I'm an Athletic Trainer for my school and we are all planing to go on a camping trip together to bond. So grab a few friends and bring your camping gear!
7. Ballon Messages: Get helium filled balloons with long strings. Write letters on them with your instgram, kik, or twitter and tell them to message you if they find it. Tie it to the balloon and let it go. (My friends and I are doing this on the last day of school).
8. Go Paintball: Invite a big group of friends to go paintball and then have a HUGE war! (I want to do this so bad!)
9. Movie Marathon: Have a movie marathon at your house or at a friends how and choose a genre for the night! For example, a TV series your friends and you like, a Disney Movie Marathon, or a Scary Movie Marathon.
I hope this list helped a little bit. Comment below and tell me what you plan to do over the summer! Have a amazing summer! :D
Tips for Upcoming Freshman
Well the year is almost over and if you read my first post it says this was a class assignment so after this I might not post anything else. So I wanted to prepare you upcoming freshman for what going to happen once you enter the doors of High school and since I'm a freshman at the moment you'll be getting real advice.
1. No one will get the 8 hours of sleep doctors recommend and that includes the teachers. I get around 4 hours of sleep but I sleep through my 6th period sometimes, so that counts as 5 hours.
2. When it comes to lunch time your going to have a clique, your going to be a wonderer, or your going to be the studier. (If you want to read my lunchtime story look at the post called "Lunchtime").
3. The upperclass men are not welcoming. Some freshman think the upperclassmen will help you if your lost on the first day? Well your wrong. Next year I know a lot of freshman coming so of course I'm going to help them.
4. DO YOUR WORK! I'm really recommend you do you work on time because on the last few weeks of school and you got a D some teachers don't give changes to redo your work.
5. If your one of the lazy students that don't do there work, do it. In my school you either have to retake the class online or take summer school and that's not fun.
6. This is the most important time of the year. Colleges don't look back at your middle school grades. They look at your high school grades. So focus on your work.

8. Have fun and make memories.
And those are my tips to you up coming freshman. I hope you take this advice to account. Please comment below if you have any questions about high school! If you have any ideas on what my next article should be write a comment below! :)
High Schools Should Start Later
Would teens be better off with later school hours? How would it effect us? Would it change the meaning of school? These days high school students are not getting the right amount of sleep we need to be functioning properly in the daytime. I believe high schools should start later because students would get more rest and be more focused in school.
First of all, I believe high schools should start later because students will get more rest. A lot of teenagers attending early starting school go in a sleep-deprived state. There are consequences for starting school early like severe physical and mental health, as well as how we function inn the daytime. Teens are requires to have at least 8 hours of sleep in order to function properly. " In Minnesota, they changed school times to a more later time and that resulted in eating breakfast more frequently and gaining an average of about one hour per night, since their bed times stayed the same even after the start time changed", reported by The National Sleep Foundation. In my old middle school, school started at 8:50 am through 3:50 and in those years I woke up feeling well-rested and ready for the day.
Last of all, I believe high schools should start later because students would be more focus during school. "Students would be able to complete homework during school hours, because they were more alert and efficient during the day", reported The National Sleep Foundation. Students who's schools start later are getting more sleep, report greater motivation, and less depression, preform better academically, and demonstrate better performance in attention level. A personal experience of mine was when I was in middle school. In my middle school, I had better grades than I do now and I paid more attention during class because I wasn't so tired all the time. A little extra shut-eye can go a long way!
I believe high schools should start later because students would get more rest and be more focused during school, This topic should matter because teens need more rest to function properly. We are not sleeping the amount of time we need but this problem is not only for teens. It's for the adults that work hard everyday just to come home for more work with their family. So changing school times are not just for the students, it's for the teachers too.
